Here at the town of Wasco, US 466 crossed and was briefly cosigned with State Route 43. The roadway also passes under the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (former ATSF) Railway using a 1930 underpass. Wasco also has an Amtrak stop along the San Joaquin (now Gold Runner) line.
