Former railroad crossing location just east of Hinkley. Removed when the Hwy 58 Barstow Bypass was constructed.

Hinkley is a small community west of Barstow. It was made famous (or infamous) in the 2000 movie “Erin Brockovich” regarding water pollution caused by a PG&E gas pipeline station. Hinkley was also recently bypassed by a freeway in late 2017.
