Through the Mojave Desert – Indian Wells Valley
Brown Junction
This was the original southern junction of US 6 and US 395 until about 1957. Little remains here of any businesses, but some trace concrete ruins remain. The present US 395 expressway runs to the east of the old alignment here and was opened in 1993.
Go East on US 6 / North US 395 to Bishop
Go West on US 6 to Mojave
Go South on US 395 to San Diego
