About This Highway
State 134 is one of the older routes in the Los Angeles area. It originally ran a little further than it does today on various surface streets such as Colorado Blvd, Alameda St, and Moorpark St. The original western terminus was at Ventura Blvd and Woodman Ave. Today, the Ventura Freeway is one of the busier freeways in the region, serving as a connector between US 101 in the San Fernando Valley and I-210 in Pasadena. It has HOV lanes for its entire length.
