In 2014, I moved this website from basic HTML to WordPress. This new format allowed me to write separate posts instead of standard pages when something came up that didn’t quite fit a specific page. In the 12 years following, I’ve posted quite a bit, a fair amount of which has more or less been buried and difficult to find. A new page, Historic Roads, showcases all the posts related to roads and is sorted by county. These are a supplement to the many route-specific pages that are scattered about the site.
A second page, called “News and Updates”, now serves as a landing page for ALL posts, regardless of topic. These used to be on the main page but now that a new Home Page exists, they had to be moved.
Both these new pages are automatically updated, which will help a lot in the long run. No more “lost” pages.
