Greetings All!
The site has been undergoing some major upgrades lately, some of which I’ve already talked about. The smaller pages are slow going but you’ll see incremental progress for a while. I would like to know what you think of the changes. Have they helped navigation? Is something missing? No links have changed, so that shouldn’t be a problem. The goal has always been to have all the information on this site more readily available. Before the changes, a lot of older posts got buried and “lost”. Now there are pages devoted to those posts in the hopes of allowing them to be found easier. I’ve also been working on adding maps to the pages, as appropriate. I’ve developed a mapping plugin which allows me to create maps showing locations for various pages and posts and has enhanced my online highway tours. Not every page and post will be geolocated as some are either too broad of scope or not suitable. The “Pictorial Guide to Southern California Highways”, for example, will likely not get such mapping as many of the routes are too long. Where does the marker go for the 405 or the 110?
Please use the Contact page, linked below, to send your comments and suggestions for these upgrades. I’ve put a lot of work into all this and want to make sure it is being done right for you, the reader.
Thank you all for your continued support!
