Halfway House Cafe
Located halfway from Palmdale and Los Angeles, this is just one of the once numerous restaurants that lined US 6 back in its heyday. This one, however, is still open. Originally opened in 1931, it has been used in many movies and TV shows (Twilight Zone : The Movie, A-Team). A gas station used to be next to it but it has since ceased operation.
